Let's face it, there are many emotions around Christmas and joy is not always the most prominent. We're as much likely to have frustration, anger, bitterness, sadness, grief and brokenness. Christmas highlights and heightens emotions more than any other time of year. Christmas is for the broken-hearted. It's because of the broken-hearted that Jesus came. He came to bind up the wounds, he came to bring peace.
"He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives..." (Isaiah 61:1)
